Accessing the subconscious mind is having access to all that makes us who we are, and who we have ever been
Dina P. Ferguson, a licensed and registered hypnotherapist, is grounded in a deep understanding of the transformative power of Hypnotherapy for insight and healing. With an emphasis on the vast reservoir of answers residing within our subconscious mind, Dina guides individuals through a gentle, yet profound exploration of their subconscious memories to uncover unresolved issues, reasons, and solutions for healing
“The unconscious mind is a miraculous tool, a personal storehouse, filled with the organized ‘files’ of our lives. Because the unconscious mind can’t tell time, we can seamlessly go back to these memories, emotions, and feelings and work toward resolving past trauma, finding healing, peace, and allowing ourselves to initiate the desired [healthy] change.
I have experienced firsthand the power of hypnosis for understanding and deep healing. We hold many of the answers we seek deep inside our subconscious mind, we just need a helping hand to guide us safely, and comfortably, into the deeper layers of subconscious memory, where the answers, reasons, and resolutions we seek are located.”
Through Dina’s guidance of hypnotherapy, you too can unlock the power of your subconscious mind, break through obstacles, clear away interference, improve your quality of life, remove unwanted behavior, reach goals, and achieve success.
Ask 200 experts to define Hypnosis and you will get 200 different answers, all correct based on how hypnosis is being used, on who, and for what.
Additionally, hypnosis varies from person to person, as we are all individuals. I have come to understand Hypnosis as a guided conversation between client and practitioner that induces deep relaxation while maintaining an awake state.
The client’s attention is laser focused, they are hyper-aware, and they can maintain deep concentration. This results in distracting the conscious mind (conscious meaning ‘aware’), and together we access the subconscious mind, where conversation, resolution, and ‘work’ can be accomplished.
The client is always completely aware of what’s happening and will remember the experience. Though completely relaxed, the client is in an awake state. I often recommend journaling your experience after the session, this can be helpful with healing resolution.
The individual gains insight into their thoughts, emotions, beliefs and/or behaviors. This newfound awareness allows the individual to recognize patterns, limiting beliefs, or negative habits.
Like turning on a light in a dark room – the individual suddenly sees things differently and profound transformations are possible.
Emotional baggage, fears, or past traumas can be resolved as we gain better understanding of the initial trauma or event. This resolution frees up mental and emotional energy, allowing for positive shifts.
The individual realizes they can change, grow, to create a healthier body and mind.
The result of the individual becoming more aligned with their desired outcome(s).
Take a moment to reflect on your current challenges. Whether it’s difficulties with sleep, managing stress and anxiety, controlling pain, overcoming specific phobias, or seeking support with weight loss, hypnosis offers a gentle, safe approach.
This method invites you to explore the deeper realms of your subconscious mind, providing a tranquil space where healing and personal growth can flourish.
If these issues touch upon areas of concern in your life, hypnosis could be a nurturing and effective path toward wellness.

Yes, when performed by a trained and licensed professional like a certified hypnotist, hypnotherapy is safe. It is a non-invasive method of therapy that has been recognized for its effectiveness in various psychological and physiological issues.

Most people can be hypnotized as long as they are willing and open to the process. Success in hypnosis is based on the belief that one can be hypnotized and the expectation of the hypnosis process working.
The number of sessions required can vary based on individual needs and specific issues being addressed. Healing and change often occur gradually and may require multiple sessions.
